Let’s jump right in and join us in a hassle-free onboarding journey.
- Initial Interview and Application:
Once you’ve applied and had your initial interview, we kick off the onboarding process. We aim to process everything within a week to a week and a half. - MVR and PSP Check:
First things first, we check your MVR (Motor Vehicle Registry) and PSP (Pre-employment Screening Program) to ensure there are no serious moving violations or accidents that require attention. - Background Check and Employment Verification:
After going through the initial check boxes, we proceed with a thorough background check and employment verification, ensuring the accuracy of the information you’ve shared with us.
- Setting up Orientation:
Once all checkboxes are approved, we set up an orientation date for you. We understand the importance of convenience, so we arrange a pre-employment drug test as close to your home as possible. We want to ensure a smooth process and alleviate any potential delays. - Two-Day Orientation:
The actual orientation spans two days, typically held from Tuesday through Wednesday. On the first day, expect a road test, safety and company policy discussions, and payroll information. By the end of Tuesday, you’ll be assigned a truck and can make your way back to the hotel. - Equipment Training:
The second day focuses on equipment training, covering the ins and outs of your truck, reefer units, and the reefer trailer. This knowledge ensures you’re fully prepared for the upcoming journeys.
- Organizing Your Truck:
After training, take the remainder of the day to organize your truck according to your preferences, conduct a pre-trip inspection, feel free to spend the night in the truck if you choose to. - First Load and Beyond:
Get ready to hit the road! Your first load will be dispatched on Thursday morning. From here, it’s a straightforward process, and once the wheels start turning, everything moves along quickly.
